The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center is staffed 24 hours with veterinary health professionals who have been specially trained in veterinary toxicology. If you think that your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, call the ASPCA 24 hour emergency Animal Poison Control Center hotline at (888) 426-4435. A $65 consultation fee is applied to your credit card.

Lange Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to saving impounded companion animals, and preparing them for a journey to a new safe, loving world. We are located in West Los Angeles and have a second location called St. Bonnie's Sanctuary in Canyon Country, CA.

Los Angeles Animal Services

Los Angeles Animal Services is the perfect place to look for your new furry family member, to get a voucher for a reduced fee spay or neuter surgery, to get a dog or horse license or if you have a dangerous or barking dog problem. They also answer questions and calls about wildlife. There are six LA City shelters serving approximately 60,000 animals annually and responding to 20,000 emergency calls involving an animal or person in danger each year.

Los Angeles Police K9 Patrol Unit

The Los Angeles Police K9 Patrol Unit assists Patrol Officers in the location and apprehension of criminal suspects; location of firearms and other crime evidence in perimeter searches; location of missing persons; and they are deployed to support SWAT operations. These highly-trained police canines’ invaluable contributions enhance the safety of both officers and the members of the communities they serve, helping to further the reduction of crime and the fear of crime.
