Heather Galano, Medical Director

Dr. Heather Galano is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Neurology/Neurosurgery). She obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania is 1999. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine at the University of Georgia and a fellowship at the Veterinary Neurological Center in Phoenix followed by a residency in neurology/neurosurgery at North Carolina State University in 2005. Dr. Galano then went to California to work in a private practice with three other< neurologists. After two years of missing the East Coast she returned and moved to Westport, CT. Dr. Galano has a yellow lab named Bodie, who is her best friend. She loves the outdoors, spending time on the beach, hiking, running and cooking. She also loves to travel.
