Lee Lipsitz, Medical Director

Dr. Lee Lipsitz earned her DVM degree from Michigan State University in 1996. While at MSU also received a MS and PhD in the field of neurotoxicology. Although she planned to stay in academia and teach future veterinarians she just couldn't give up the day-to-day satisfaction of working in a private practice.
Although originally a New Yorker, Dr. Lipsitz moved from Michigan to Connecticut in 2002 and has been with Baybrook Animal Hospital since then. She loves all aspects of the practice but especially loves dentistry, surgery and ultrasound.
Dr. Lipsitz is married, has two sons and two small dogs, Cricket and Emilio. In her spare time she loves to garden, read anything, and train for triathlons and crossfit fitness competitions.
