VCA Shoreline is one of only 35 LEVEL 1 facilities in the country. A Level I emergency and critical care facility is a 24 hour acute care facility with the resources and specialty training necessary to provide sophisticated emergent and critical patient care. This facility is open to receive small animal emergency patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

VCA Charities is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that directly helps pets in need. Through its 32 Pet Food Pantry locations in 18 states, VCA Charities has helped to provide over 2 million pet food meals to pets in need. VCA Charities also provides free veterinary services, medication, and annual funding to over 100 humane societies, animal rescues, animal shelters, and service dog organizations across the country.
VCA Charities recently raised over $565,000 through the Pennies for Pets Program. Donations are always welcome at participating VCA Animal Hospitals or online at vcacharities.org.
