Danielle Wilde, Veterinarian
Dr. Wilde was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and always dreamed of moving to the Adirondacks. Vacationing in Lake George yearly since childhood she is happy to finally call the Southern Adirondacks home. She received her undergraduate degree from CUNY College of Staten Island in 2010 and her DVM degree from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She completed her clinical education at Michigan State University in 2014.
Prior to joining the BSVC team, Dr. Wilde practiced as a small animal veterinarian in Long Island for one and a half years. Before this she spent eight years as a veterinary technician in both private practice and shelter medicine. She is especially interested in animal behavior, acupuncture, internal medicine and ultrasound.
At home, Dr. Wilde has a large furry family including three rescue dogs who go pretty much everywhere with her (Dottie, Goose, and Dean) as well as 2 rescue cats (Jackson and Quinn).
In her spare time, Dr. Wilde enjoys hiking, camping, and canoeing with her boyfriend and their dogs. She loves spending time with family and enjoying what Mother Nature has to offer. She is also a certified dog trainer and loves helping owners work through issues with their canine companions.
Dr. Wilde looks forward to a long and happy career, providing compassionate care for all of her patients and clients at Ballston Spa Veterinary Clinic.
