A fluoroscope is a type of X-ray machine that combines an X-ray source and a fluorescent screen to enable real-time observation of an organ while it is functioning. Our specialists at Veterinary Referral& Emergency Center of Westbury often use fluoroscopy during surgical procedures either to watch the movement of joints or to guide the placement of prostheses or needles.
