Stephanie Munyon, Staff Veterinarian
VCA Spring Branch Animal Hospital is pleased to announce a new doctor! Dr. Stephanie Munyon will be joining the doctor team as an associate DVM on August 13, 2018. With a background in exotic pets, we are excited to have her help us grow our Exotic practice.
Dr. Munyon is a lifelong lover of animals. She graduated from University of Illinois in 2012 and received her doctor of veterinary medicine from Iowa State University in 2016. Following graduation she completed a 12 month Small Animal Rotating Internship at VCA South Shore in Massachusetts followed by a 12 month Avian and Exotic Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists here in Houston.
Dr. Munyon's clinical interests are in client education, promoting welfare and the human-animal bond, zoological companion animal and wildlife medicine.
When Dr. Munyon isn't at the clinic she enjoys crochet, nerdy pursuits, running, and shares her home with her greyhound, cat, and rabbit.
