Joya  Migliaccio, Staff Veterinarian

Dr. Joya Migliaccio was born and raised in Colorado Springs, almost across the street from our hospital! She went to Colorado State University for her undergraduate and received her DVM from their College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences in 2017. She started out in practice in southern Wyoming working in a small mixed animal practice on cows, horses, dogs, and cats. She moved back to Colorado to be closer to her family. Her main veterinary interests include diagnostic imaging such as radiology and ultrasound, and pain management and rehabilitation. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her menagerie of animals including dogs (Jolene, Homer, Gordita, and Chalupa), a cat (Sawyer), a cow (Nemo), and a horse ( Nugget). She can also be found hiking, reading, or playing board and card games with her family and friends.
