John Adams, Medical Director
Dr. Adams, is a Colorado native and received his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University in 1986. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science in 1982 also from Colorado State University. He has over 29 years of clinical experience and is skilled in orthopedic surgery and internal medicine.
His lifelong commitment to veterinary medicine continues through his advanced training in areas of special interest. Special interests include: cranial cruciate ligament repair, orthopedic surgery, cardiology, ultrasonography, and radiology. Licensed in four states, Dr. Adams has been selected to receive the Americas Top Veterinarians award in 2007 and 2008 by the Consumers Research Council of America.
Personal interests include competitive sporting clays, in which he competes on state, national, and international levels. He also enjoys fishing, hiking, and camping. He loves spending time with his family and pets. Dr. Adams is a sporting dog enthusiast and loves spending free time with his best friend Hanna, a German Wire-haired Pointer.
