Quynhtien Tran, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Tran graduated from Texas A & M University, where she earned her B.S. in Biomedical Science (2002), D.V.M. (2007), followed by a Ph.D. in Veterinary Microbiology (2009). She worked at the Food and Drug Administration National Center for Toxicology Research as a Veterinary Medical Scientist in 2008 and has authored and co-authored several scientific publications. She returned to the Houston area in 2010 and completed a residency in Comparative Medicine at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and has continued to maintain her veterinary medical and surgical skills by working in both shelter and private practice settings. Her love and loyalty to clients and patients has since kept her in clinical practice and she joined VCA in 2013. Dr. Tran joined the VCA Kelliwood Animal Hospital in May 2018.. She is fluent in Vietnamese and has one cat and one dog at home.
