Dickie Vest, Medical Director
Dr. Dickie Vest attended undergraduate college at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas receiving a BS in Animal Science. He then attended the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1998. Dr. Vest completed a two-year clinical residency in Equine Theriogenology at Texas A&M, becoming board-certified by the American College of Theriogenologists in 2005, and later by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Equine Practice.
Dr. Vest has been very involved in the United States Army Reserve since entering as a First Lieutenant in the Veterinary Corps in 2001. Currently he is a Colonel and serves as the Commander of the 352nd Combat Support Hospital at Camp Parks, California.
Dr. Vest has been in private practice for the majority of his career. He has spent considerable time working with working dogs and horses in the military, private equine practice, and years of mixed animal practice.
Dr. Vest has been married to Linette for 18 years, and they have four beautiful children: Hannah, Hayden, Emma, and Mary.
