Daniel Allen, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Allen has lived in Raleigh since 1980. He earned undergraduate degrees from Mars Hill College and N. C. State University before becoming a member of the first graduating class of the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine. He has owned his own practice and is currently our Medical Director and head of our Radioactive Iodine Treatment Center. His interests include laser surgery, internal medicine, and the treatment of hyperthyroid cats using radioactive iodine. He is also a graduate of the N.C. State Business Coaching Certificate program. His wife, Karen, is a kindergarten teacher and both children have left home to attend UNC – Chapel Hill. The nest is not empty, however, with his wolfpack buddy, a yorkie-poo appropriately named “Packie.”
