Krista Voogt, Credentialed Veterinary Technician Supervisor

At the early age of eight, Krista started showing Bullmastiffs. From there, her love of animals grew. After high school, she started following her dream of becoming a certified veterinary technician by attending the Vet Tech Institute of Fox College. She graduated in April of 2012, and has continued to grow in this field since. Krista was promoted to Lead Technician in 2015 and most currently, Technician Supervisor. In the spring of 2017, Krista was also selected to pilot a new program within VCA to provide development opportunities for technicians throughout the central region. She is currently working with 13 VCA sister hospitals to provide development opportunities for fellow technicians. Krista's family include her fiancé Kevin, a Pitbull named Talulah, a Pomeranian/Maltese named Sully, a Pitbull/Lab mix named Flubber, a Tibetan Mastiff named Chloe, a rescue FeLV cat named Olaf, a guinea pig named Peaches and a handful of fish. In her spare time, Krista enjoys reading, traveling and fishing.
