Samantha Laclair, Medical Director

Dr. Samantha LaClair is a New Hampshire native – she was raised in the Keene area and attended the University of New Hampshire.  After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Zoology, she worked as a research assistant in the Cardiology and Vascular Medicine Department at Brigham & Women's Hospital. She also gained experience in the veterinary hospital setting before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University. There she was awarded the Jeff Proulx Memorial Award for her work throughout her emergency rotations. After graduation she completed a one-year rotating clinical internship at VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center, in Norwalk, CT. 
 
Dr. LaClair returned to New Hampshire in 2009, and has been practicing emergency and general medicine in the area ever since. She now resides in Lee with her husband Jesse, two daughters Jane and Fiona, their dog Bandit, and cat Snacks. Dr. LaClair has special interests in internal medicine, emergency, ultrasound, nursing care, cardiology, and geriatric medicine. In her spare time she can be found snowboarding, coaching and playing soccer, working on DIY projects at home, or prepping for a zombie apocalypse.
