Alexandra Settele, Veterinarian

Dr. Alexandra Settele grew up in a military family and lived all over the world before settling in Maine in high school. After realizing how much she loved New England, she decided to stay in Maine and obtained her Bachelors of Science from the University of Maine in Orono. She then moved to St. Kitts and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2016. She completed her veterinary clinical year at Louisiana State University, where she was lucky enough to work with the LSU mascot, Mike the tiger.

Dr. Settele has a special interest in exotics, soft tissue surgery, integrative medicine, and dentistry. She currently lives in Maine with her husband, their dog Coco, and their cat Nymeria. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, reading fantasy/sci-fi novels, and watching movies.
