Deidre Wood, Hospital Manager

Deidre grew up in Albuquerque and studied Biology at the University of New Mexico.  She began her career in veterinary medicine in 1999, at the age of 13, while volunteering for VCA.  She began work as a kennel assistant in 2002, she became a veterinary assistant in 2006, and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2010.  Deidre lived in Alaska for 3 years with her husband before moving back to Albuquerque in 2012, and has been with VCA West Mesa since.  Deidre enjoys spending her free time with her husband, two young children and their pets.
