Amy Thorud, Staff Veterinarian

Dr. Thorud is a University of Oregon alumni and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University. She completed a post-graduate rotating internship here in New Mexico and fell in love with this great region. After practicing on the West Coast in both emergency and general practice for several years, she made her way back to the Albuquerque sunshine.

She is a certified Fear Free professional and enjoys surgery as well as transfusion medicine. Dr. Thorud is an avid audiobook listener, gym goer and outdoor explorer that enjoys spending time hiking with her husband and 4 dogs in the beautiful areas around the Sandia's.
