Pet Boarding

When boarding your pet at University Animal Hospital, you can be assured that our Pet Care Technicians will take excellent care of your pets while you are away. Our clients have been trusting us for over 50 years to take care of their pets.

Boarding Options:
Dogs: Indoor or Indoor/Outdoor Run
Cats: Window or Non-Window Condo
Rabbits, Ferrets, and Pocket Pets: Need to bring your own Cage/Bedding, Food and Water Bottle

Boarding Discounts:
We are now offering a new and exciting frequent boarder card! For each night your pet stays with us you will receive a punch on the punch card, collect 10 punches and redeem it on your next boarding stay for a free night! Boarding multiple pets? Each pet will receive their own punch card! Please note: Diabetic Care and Doctor Supervised Boarding is not eligible for our frequent boarder discount.

Requirements:
Dogs- Current Vaccines: Distemper – Parvo, Rabies and Bordetella (Kennel Cough – annualy)
Cats and Ferrets: Current Vaccines: Distemper and Rabies
Owner administered vaccines are not allowed and proof must come from your veterinarian.
Best protection is achieved when vaccines are administered at least a week in advance of boarding. We are not responsible should your pet be vaccinated less than one week in advance of boarding.

Dogs: Flea and Tick Treatment
Owner’s may administer the flea and tick treatment themselves either by using a topical or oral product. We are not responsible for any parasites when an owner has administered the treatment themselves. If fleas/ticks are found on your pet, we will remove them and apply the treatment at additional costs to you.

We provide both a monthly topical treatment as well as a 3 month oral treatment.

Provided to all Pets:

• Dry Food
• Fresh Water
• All Bowls
• All Bedding (If pet is not destructive)
• Litter and Litter Boxes

What you can bring from Home:

• Own Food Dry or Canned (if possible, we ask that you pre-portion the food in to individual ziploc bags)
• Treats
• Vitamins
• Medications (they must be in their original container with dosage/instructions clearly labeled) (Download the boardin medication form here)

Please do not bring beds, bedding, bowls or toys and we ask that you do not leave cat carriers, collars or leashes.
