Jillian Costigan, Veterinarian

Dr. Jill Costigan joined the STVA team in December 2015 and is a 2010 graduate of St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. After she completed her clinical year of training at Cornell she fell in love with upstate New York, so she decided to stay. Since graduation, she worked as an Associate Veterinarian at a private practice in Ithaca, while occasionally moonlighting at an emergency and critical care hospital in Syracuse. In 2012, she moved to Los Angeles for 1 year, where she worked at a busy 5-doctor animal hospital. That experiment in relocation cemented her realization that upstate New York is the only place she would ever want to live, and in 2013 she returned to Ithaca. Dr. Costigan has a special interest in dentistry, dermatology, and radiology. She lives in Ithaca with her 4 dogs, Noodles, Pumpkin, Dumpling and Haggis, a rabbit, Nibbler, a snake, Grippy, her husband, Marcus, and their son, Clyde.
