Dr. Kelsey Bailey joined VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists in July 2020 after completing an Ophthalmology Internship at MedVet in Columbus, Ohio and a Rotating Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Oklahoma State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bailey received her doctorate from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bailey's interests within the realm of Ophthalmology include feline cataract surgery and the development of new treatments and surgeries for glaucoma in the veterinary patient. Dr. Bailey will be working exclusively in our Ophthalmology department on all things ocular.
When relaxing off the job, Dr. Bailey enjoys spending time with her husband, Jared, and their two pooches, Stanley and Daisy. When not adventuring and exploring her new home in the PNW, Dr. Bailey enjoys spending her few quiet moments reading, crafting, and creating art.
