Dr. Hannah Cohen joined VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists in June 2020 after graduating from Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Cohen received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. For two years before veterinary school and all throughout her doctoral training, Dr. Cohen worked as an ER/ICU technical assistant in the emergency rooms and critical care units of WSU and DoveLewis in Portland. Dr. Cohen has a special interest in Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, and Clinical Pathology.
Having been on the cross country team in college, Dr. Cohen is still bitten by the running bug and ran her fist 50 K last year. When out of the hospital, she also enjoys cycling as well as the less strenuous but equally rewarding pastimes of baking and cooking. She and her wife Josie have a full house with their Chihuahua Lupe and their two cats, Milo and Squid.
