Dr. Gretchen Scheffe joined VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists in June 2018 after graduating from North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Scheffe received her Undergraduate Degree with a Major in Marine Biology and Minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington. Dr. Scheffe has a special interest in Critical Care, Internal Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management.

When she is not at work, Dr. Scheffe enjoys backpacking, traveling, playing soccer, gardening and mountain biking. Her favorite activities include doing anything with her dog, Dori including exploring, hiking and eating together.
