Casey Pawl, Medical Director
Hello! I am Dr. Casey Pawl. I grew up in Parma Heights, OH surrounded by animals. We always had a few Great Pyrenees and Pembroke Welsh Corgis in the house that we competed with in conformation and basic obedience as a family. I did my undergraduate work at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA and majored in Biology. On top of my education, I swam and played water polo and continued to show dogs in my free time. I attended Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine for veterinary school and it was the hardest and best part of my education. As a veterinarian, I enjoy teaching. I like to explain and teach so clients can fully understand what is going on with their pet. I also enjoy teaching and explaining with the technicians, technician assistants, and CSRs. Knowledge is power!
Within veterinary medicine, I get giddy with excitement over reproduction, surgery, and integrative medicine. Integrative medicine combines traditional Chinese medicine with Western medicine to treat the whole patient. Outside of practice, I enjoy the sport of purpose bred dogs within the AKC via conformation, lure coursing, and soon to be draft dog. Spending time with my family is of utmost importance, which includes my partner, my daughter, 3 corgis and 1 Bernese Mountain Dog.
