Melissa F., Veterinary Assistant

Melissa attended Ledyard High School's Agricultural Science program and graduated from Eastern CT State University with a B.S. in Communication. In 2011 she took Vet Assisting classes at Three Rivers and entered the field as a Vet Assistant in June 2012. She is a VCA scholarship recipient and is in her last semester of Penn Foster College to obtain an Associate's Degree in Vet Technology. She is Fear Free Elite certified.

She and her husband have 4 adorable cats: Anubis, Atlas, Odin & Tyr. Her passion is helping cats and making sure they get just as much veterinary love and care as dogs.
