Christopher Ficke, Staff Veterinarian
Dr. Christopher Ficke joined VCA in March of 2020. He received his BA in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire (Durham), his Master's degree in Biochemistry from Long Island University and his VMD from University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Ficke worked as a research technician and vet student at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania in pulmonary pathology. He later became owner and operator of Chester Veterinary Clinic for 30 years. His clinical interest is surgery, and his personal interests include gardening/landscaping around his Mystic home, cross country and water skiing, squash, biking and exercising at the gym.
