Kyle Barnes, Hospital Manager

Kyle grew up in the San Diego area, but moved to Oregon as a teenager. After attending the University of Oregon, he was looking for his calling. Kyle originally decided to pursue human nursing, but changed his mind and decided that his love for animals and his desire to work with them was strong enough to pull him into animal care rather than human care. What better place to pursue his true passion than back in sunny San Diego.

Kyle has been in the veterinary field for 10 years, and after going back to school, has been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 7 years. Kyle has been with VCA since 2016 and joined VCA Market St. in 2018. He loves his work and the fact that it consistently provides him with new challenges and excitement.
