Emily Franquin, Staff Veterinarian
Prior to joining Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center, Dr. Franquin worked for 5 years at VCA Wakefield in Massachusetts and she was a volunteer veterinarian supervisor at the Tufts at Tech Community Clinic in Worcester, MA. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Barnard College in 2005 and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and Master's in Public Health from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013.
If your pet could use some behavior modification, you definitely want an appointment with her! Dr. Franquin trained with Dr. Nicholas Dodman at Tufts, and she continues to focus on animal behavior. She is a Fear Free™ Certified Professional.
Dr. Franquin is able to converse in French.
When she's not working, Dr. Franquin enjoys going for walks, singing, origami, and playing with her two young sons. She and her family live locally with an Australian cattle dog named Dusty and a calico cat named Tanya.
