Digital Radiology

Radiology (x-ray) is an important diagnostic tool for capturing single images of bones and soft tissue. Hope Animal Hospital's digital radiography machine means that, unlike the old film and chemical processing, digital radiographs can be done quickly and safely, providing images with excellent clarity and thus increasing their diagnostic efficacy. Some patients may need to be sedated or anesthetized depending on the patient and the area being radiographed. In this case, we normally schedule a separate appointment in order to ensure that the pet is safe and comfortable as possible.
