Karlo Tawatao, Staff Veterinarian

Dr. Karlo Tawatao was born and raised in the Philippines. He attained his Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Central Luzon State University. Following graduation, he moved to the USA and worked as a veterinary technician before obtaining his Florida veterinary license. While he enjoys all facets of veterinary science, he has a strong interest in emergency medicine and surgery. Growing up in the countryside, he is also fascinated with large animal and wildlife medicine.

During his spare time, you can find Dr. Tawatao riding his mountain bike or spending time with his energetic four-legged nephew named Chingu. He is an avid nature enthusiast who loves to go hiking and camping.
