Chantel Simmons, Staff Veterinarian
Dr. Chantel Simmons is from Summerville, SC, and attended Clemson University (Go Tigers!) for undergrad where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She then went on to switch out one tiger hat for another and attended Tuskegee University where she graduated.
Dr. Simmons has always had a passion for all animals from a very young age. She currently has a strong interest in zoo exotics but is open to other concentrations as well such as medicine and oncology. She is also very passionate about client education and looks forward to educating her wonderful clients on how to best care for their pets.
In her free time, Dr. Simmons thoroughly enjoys visiting various zoos across the United States. She also loves to travel and is a MAJOR foodie and finds the utmost joy in exploring different restaurants. She loves spending time with family and friends as well as her sweet kitty Salem. Dr. Simmons is happy to be a part of the VCA Hollywood family!
