Briana Danielson, Veterinary Specialist
Briana Danielson, DVM, DACVS was born and raised in Maryland. She attended University of Maryland for undergraduate and The Ohio State University for veterinary school. She received The Ohio State award for small animal surgery during her fourth year there. After graduating veterinary school she completed a private practice internship and surgical residency at MedVet in Ohio.
Briana continued to work for MedVet as a staff surgeon for an additional year after completing her residency. More recently, Briana worked at The Hope Center, a specialty hospital in Rockville, Maryland.
Dr. Danielson is a member of many veterinary organizations including: AOVet, The Society of Veterinary Soft Tissue Surgery, Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncology, Veterinary Orthopedic Society, The Society of Minimally Invasive Surgery, and The American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Danielson is the primary author on a paper discussing performing single session bilateral tibial tuberosity advancements (TTA), as well as a coauthor on papers discussing radiographic changes of the tibial tuberosity after tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) and elective and emergency surgical management of adrenal tumors.
In her free time Briana enjoys spending time with her five dogs (a Labrador, a cattle dog and, three pugs), doing home improvement projects, and spending time with friends. She is looking forward to enjoying the water and warm sand here in the sunshine state.
