Gloria Santamaria, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Santamaria came to Reno in 2016 from the Maryland/Virginia area. She completed her undergraduate at George Mason University in Virginia and graduated Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She spent her first 15 year practicing on the east coast, the majority in emergency medicine. She has always had a strong interest in feline medicine. When she is not at work she enjoys hiking, riding bikes, and lounging on the beach at Tahoe. She also likes taking stay-cations to the wine country. Dr. Santamaria is an avid sports fan and is anxiously waiting for her Washington Nationals to get to the World Series.

She lives in Reno with her two spoiled British Shorthair rescues named Thelma and Louise.
