Kathryn Martell, Medical Director

Dr. Kathryn Martell graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She moved to Alaska and joined VCA Eagle River in 2000, becoming Medical Director in 2001. She enjoys internal medicine cases, especially Oncology and Endocrinology. She also has a strong interest in endoscopy and ultrasound. She is also an Area Medical Director for  VCA hospitals in Alaska and Seattle.

When not at work, Dr. Martell enjoys snow skiing, scuba diving, gardening and traveling with her husband,  Jay, and daughter, Camille. She has a yellow lab, 5 hens, and a horse, Cameo. She spends most of her free time at the barn or at horse shows with Camille and Cameo.
