Jenna N., Technician
Jenna joined our team April of 2011. She started her VCA journey as a receptionist, but has a true passion for the medical side of the hospital, so she quickly jumped to become an assistant, to a tech, and is currently studying to take her National Exam to become a licensed Veterinary Technician. She has special interest in someday working with therapy animals. She has gone to UAA, and enjoyed classes including Art and Psychology.
Jenna has lived in Alaska since she was five years old, and enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and has a soft spot for romantic novels and movies. She enjoys her church community at ACF here in Eagle River and volunteers there as a greeter. Jenna is very family oriented, funny, and believes in equal human rights, as well as animal rights. She loves living in Alaska, going camping, 4-wheeling, the wonderful outdoors, and resides here with her husband Kyle and her son Emerson. Her family also includes a few fur children including Franklin the Basset Hound, Lincoln the Golden/Lab mix, and her feisty cat Ivy.
