X-rays are a powerful and useful tool at VCA County West Animal Hospital for the wellness of your pet. Digital images are displayed on a computer screen, providing us a faster, more accurate view of your pet's bones and internal organs. We have a state-of-the-art digital x-ray machine that produces excellent images.

Digital radiography reduces your pet's time on the x-ray table because fewer images need to be taken and the process also eliminates the need to use toxic chemicals in the film development process, decreasing the risk of exposure to our staff and the environment. Digital x-rays can also be saved to a disk, or emailed, so that you can keep them as part of your pet's home medical record.
