Terry, Technician

Terry Kirby is one of our licensed veterinary technicians (LVT). She graduated from NOVA with her technician's license in 2001. Her first job was in Northern Virginia, but she decided to come to Fredericksburg a couple of years later and has worked at Chancellor every since. As a technician, Terry is responsible for duties such as; intubating and monitoring surgical patients, placing IV catheters, performing dental prophylaxis, laboratory maintenance, sample collection, and the nursing care of our hospitalized patients. Her love for animals keeps her coming back to work everyday. At home, Terry lives with her boys (1 grown, 2 kids), 2 dogs, and 3 cats. Outside of work she enjoys reading, puzzles, and beadwork. "I have loved animals since I was a child and love helping them feel better."
