Danielle Rockstad, Medical Director

Dr. Rockstad graduated from the University of Missouri – College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 after her undergraduate studies in Biology.

Dr. Rockstad was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri but moved to Vancouver, Washington shortly after graduating. She practiced emergency medicine/urgent care for the first 12 years of her career before joining VCA Battle Ground Animal Hospital in September 2015. Dr. Rockstad’s medical interests include emergency and urgent care medicine and ultrasound.

When Dr. Rockstad is not cuddling with patients and gabbing with clients, she spends time traveling with her husband, son, and daughter. Completing the “Rockstad Zoo” are Jasper (a naughty Pomeranian), Simon and Sienna (the kitty twins). Dr. Rockstad also enjoys gardening, cooking, and sewing – although she only dabbles in all of these pursuits.
